Health and Safety Interventions in Small and Medium Businesses

SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) account for 67% of the UK’s employment.  However, disproportionately, these businesses also account for 82% of occupational injuries.  The attached report “The business case for safety and health at work: Cost-benefit analyses of intervention in small and medium-sized enterprises”, by EU-OSHA from 2014, measured thirteen cases of intervention over a five year span, and recorded return on investment.
